Security

Nxt Inspekt is committed to protecting the security of your data. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, Authorize.net has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Authorize.net. When sensitive information is transmitted (such as a credit card number) over the internet, it's protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Credit card details stored on site at Authorize.net are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Authorize.net’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Authorize.net's infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn't share any credentials with Authorize.net’s primary services (API, website, etc.).
